6-19-2010 - Local Flight - Middle Georgia
N8234F [WRB - WRB, 1.8hrs/94.1 TT]
This morning was cool (well relatively), the sky was clear, and winds were calm.
I took off in Warrior N8234F from Robins about 0830 and headed South. I practiced a few tight turns and slow flight, then headed toward Hawkinsville, GA. There, a friend of mine "works" two days a week as the starter/course marshal at the local golf course pictured here. Tough work, but someone has to do it!

I then headed west toward Marshallville, GA. There is a lot of farmland in central Georgia. Chickens, dairies, pecans, and of course peaches. These pictures were taken near Marshallville.
I then headed north into Crawford county to locate the house of a friend from church who was hosting a father/son event at his home. it took a few minutes to locate, but I got him a picture from above also. Several cars in the yard indicate people were already arriving.
It was nearing 90 degrees by the time I landed at 10:30, but it was a great day to be in the air.
